PermalinkI also have a psd but am unsure why I need this if I have the code on the template and all the images already sliced?

You upload a truetype font and it spits out a zip file containing different versions of the font that work across different browsers, along with some CSS you paste into your theme's stylesheet. I have been using it for the past 6 months or so and it has worked flawlessly every time. Totally cross-browser compatible (including IE6). I've found it to be much simpler (but just as functional) as cufon.
If you do need to use Cufon though, I think you just put the call to the script in the <head> of your page type templates.
