embedding multiple file uploader with progress bar?

hi all,
i'm interested adding a multiple file uploader with progress bar to a restricted access page. Is there an easy way to use the Dashboard multiple uploader (aka swfupload) to do the job? I also want to display the files afterward. It seems that the resource display block Franz talked about yesterday might do the trick there (or maybe not?)
I was going use uploadify and the file list directory block Sascha made but I'd rather not load more js than needed.

I am looking for something similar. I am going to be creating a website for a commercial printer, and it would be nice to have an upload progress bar, as some of the files that will get uploaded are large. Is there a way of getting this on a future version or maybe an addon to do this?
