Event registration

I recently became consultant with a small school in my region and they used concrete5 to build a site for support of their school. I am presently planning their first annual gala and can add a page with information regarding the event, but I cannot find a way to include a registration "button/form" that would be sent to the event coordinator for tracking and ticket purposes. Payment does not need to be made here. Just the registration which is then e-mailed to the appropriate contact.

There should be a "Form" block in every version of Concrete5, do you not see this in the list of blocks available? If not, the permissions for the site are probably setup so that your user can't add that type of block and you will need to get the admin login information and change the permissions.
