Events Listing with RSVP function?

I'm looking for an add-on that would allow me to list our events. I'd don't really want a calendar view, just a chronological list of upcoming events with a description. I'd like be able to send out an email to all members that a new event was created and let them RSVP.

Does anyone know of a good add-on for this?

Yeah, I looked there but it's really hard to get a good idea of how well these function based on the limited information that's provided about each. I was hoping that someone who had created something similar might be able to offer some feedback.

Depending how in depth you want your events functionality to be, an easy way might be to create a page for each event and use my free "Enlil Likes This" add-on to display your attending members as it has a contextual option to display "like" as "attend" etc.
