Example Concrete5 Application?

Are there any examples which are available which would help illustrate how Concrete5 applications are built?
It would be nice to be able to do this without purchasing an add-on, but if that is the only means of getting a working example, would it be better to purchase and look into the Calendar add-on, Blog add-on, or another application that may be available?

sure grab the premium google block and look at that. or any of the other free ones in the marketplace.
hey Franz why dont you split the market place to Free section and Paid and maybe add a price filter
well not split.. but the marketplace is being redesigned to have automated submission, better searching, thresholds, sets, etc.
