exclude subpages missing in 5.6.0.1

In previous versions of Concrete 5, I used the Autonav Exclude Subpages add-on to exclude blog pages from autonav. According to the marketplace, it is built-in to the auto-nav block in 5.6 and later, but I do not see the functionality in the custom template of the autonav block, nor in the custom attributes of my blog page. The add-on is currently not available for 5.6.0.1 so I also cannot easily install it.

Did this functionality get misplaced in 5.6.0.1?

Thanks!

Have you tried installing the addon on 5.6.0.1 - it might still work.
I agree with you in that I can't see any custom attributes for pages for excluding sub pages.

Yep, I get a message that says it's not available for this version of Concrete5, please contact the maintainer...

I thought the same thing - it can't hurt to just install the add-on. I may just need to take a look at my installations that have the add-on and add some manual overrides, but I don't really want to do that much work.

I may be wrong on this, so please double check, but I thought that functionality was going to be built into the core autonav in 5.6, hence no upgrade of the addon. Maybe have a play with 5.6 autonav options and attributes.

Agreed, it is supposed to be in 5.6 and later. But if it is, it is not the same functionality as the add-on. The only related attribute I see is "Exclude from autonav" which is not new in 5.6 and will not have the same functionality as something that excludes subpages of a parent page. Thanks for the response!

I'm running into this issue again. Is there anyone using the built-in "exclude subpages from autonav" functionality that is supposed to be in 5.6? On this current site, I am at 5.6.0.2. Thanks!

The answer is that the functionality is there, but the attribute is not. That is something I will suggest if I have the time to find out where to suggest functionality. :-) The description of how to add the attribute is here:http://www.concrete5.org/documentation/how-tos/designers/how-to-hid...
