exclude system pages from search result

i'm getting the download file page when i search for download.
any idea how do i exclude the pages from the search result?

Not that I know how the search block works; I don't use it. But dashboard pages don't show up right?
The download page might show up because a file matches the keywords you entered?
How to exclude them? I don't think it's possible currently. That will have to be coded I guess.

according tohttp://www.concrete5.org/community/forums/chat/rootdownload_file... the problem occurs when in the indexing process. thus it'll be indexed by google as well (if u submit it)
tbh, i'd put a google cse in if i could, on this particular site, client's supplying CAD files for download, in a way the current search engine works quite well.. except for the /download_file page.
worst case, i'd put a redirection to the main download page when there's no file specified
