Fatal error on Profile sidebar.php

I'm having trouble with the sidebar.php in side the profile. When I take this line out , $bt->render('view'); , It takes the side Nav away and it brings up the page fine. However place the line back in and the page goes blank except for the picture.

Any suggestions?
