Fatal error when trying to add blocks of any type

I recently updated from version 5.4.2.1 to 5.6.3.1 going through all the in between updates. Everything went fine. I deleted some subpages from my sitemap, one of which was a blog. Later I was updating addons and attempted to update simple blog, it simply disappeared from my update list. Now anytime i try to add a block i get the following errors which all reference simple blog.

Warning: require_once(/home/users/web/b163/ipg.jingobacom/packages/simpleblog/blocks/sb_blog_sort/controller.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /hermes/bosoraweb078/b163/ipg.jingobacom/updates/concrete5.6.3.1/concrete/core/libraries/loader.php on line 217

I have left a message with the developers of simple blog, but i was hoping someone here may have some ideas.

Curious, after i see this online with some of the text highlighted it looks like part of the solution would be to manually put the simple blog update folder?

It seems like your simple blog add-on got deleted or some files are missing. I'd suggest to simply re upload the full add-on.

So when I investigate further what I find is SB quit being compatible with cs5 a few versions back. I suspect cs5 deleted SB and then later told me I had an update for SB. I'm wondering if I can reinstall? or down grade to a version compatible with SB, install SB and then re upgrade? don't know.
