file manager permission question

Maybe im being completely stupid but i cannot give a user access to the file manager. Ive been to the sitemap and granted full access to "Files" and all of its sub pages. but when they login they get the "you do not have permission" message when attempting to add images to a gallery or accessing the file manager from their dash.

I know im being a muppet i expect.

Go to the Dashboard and under System & Settings there is an option called File Manager Permissions, you probably need to grant some access there.

I am such a dope! How did I miss that?! I think I was looking so hard I couldn't see it lol
