File Manager user permissions won't work

I created a group for the editors, but the members in it can't access the file manager search page, no matter what permissions I set. They can see they file manager area's, but all the pops up (in search) is "unable to access file manager".

any thoughts on what I might be doing wrong?

under "/index.php/dashboard/files/access/"
did you set the permissions there?

Sounds like you sorted it, but be aware that there is a bug in the latest versions of concrete5 concerning advanced permisions on the file manager.
