File upload

Hi guys

Is there a possibility to avoid that C5 creates this folder? (file attached)
My wish is to have one folder, which can be uploaded by FTP client an add this as an entire folder to C5, without creating this new folders.

For example:

Presentations-folder/presentation1/image1
Presentations-folder/presentation1/image2
Presentations-folder/presentation1/image3 etc.

Presentations-folder/presentation2/image1
Presentations-folder/presentation2/image2
Presentations-folder/presentation2/image3 etc.

Many thanks,
Simon

Hi Simon,

As far as I'm aware, this file structure is essential for C5 to work and I don't think there is anyway to structure them in the way you're looking for.

I'm guessing you want to do it like this to make it easy to bulk upload groups of files. The way to handle that with C5 is to use sets - you can easily upload multiple files and apply them to a set as a group using the file manager. Note you can use the file Incoming folder to upload files via ftp and then use the C5 file manager to group import and apply them to sets if you prefer.

You can FTP files into files/incoming. The c5 file manager then has an option to import files from the incoming folder. During the import, you can add them to a set, as already described above.
