I have already posted this in the Feature Requests section, but thought it would be a good idea to get some feedback within this section.

It would be great if you could use the file manager as a block in a website. I am currently building a website that has a login file library section and it would be brilliant if a file manager block was developed where I could have a navigation on the left and can pull up a specific set within a block view of the file manager. If it could work by knowing what viewing/editing rights the logged in user has as well would be brilliant.

Originally thought the gallery would work fine, but the file manager is more powerful and views the files exactly how I wish them. Also made a user and group for library login and can get them to view only the file manager, but it's not easy to navigate as the user would have to search by set, but if there was a block it would work like a treat and there's all the view/download features of the file manager.

I reckon this would be an invaluable block add-on.
