Filtering Groups by Set

For the life of me I cannot find any documentation on how to filter a list of users based on a Group Set. I know how to filter based on Groups, and I see there is functionality for filtering File Sets, but working with Group Sets seems to be missing from any documentation.

What am I missing?

AFAIK, you can use Group Set to assign permissions to areas, pages and blocks in the same way you did with users and groups
