Flicking CSS on page load

Hi - when I load my concrete 5 page on firefox it flicks to and displays for a second or two a non-active css and then loads the correct css.

It doesn't happen on Safari but there seems to be a blank screen for a second or two before it loads the CSS...any ideas anyone as apart from anything is else its doing my eyes in!!

First thing I would try is putting your <head> tag in the correct place :)

Thanks Jon could you give me more detail please? Am using the header.php to pull in my styles this is why the <head> tag comes down the page...

yes it was the way that I'd set the header. As soon as I took all my stylesheets off the template document and put them in the header it stopped 'flicking'. The only thing I have at the top of the template doc is the include for the header.php file and the php start tag. Then it goes straight to the xhtml of the document.
