Footer bg picture help

Hello fellow Concreters,

One thing that is pain in my a** for quite some time now ... :0)
I would like to widen my background picture in footer in a way that other things stay exactly where they are if you know what I mean.

Please let me know if you need any additional info, code or whatever ...
