Footer changing with different browsers

With my simple, three column footer, it looks just fine in Opera, but changes in other browsers ie, Firefox. ie, the columns move position.

Apologies, no-doubt its been discussed before, but would appreciate any suggestions for resolving. Thanks in advance.

Note plz, I'm no coder, so "idiot proof" it, if possible, plz.

Thanks again.

If you look at the footer, in say Opera and then look at it in say firefox, it moves stuff around ie disclaimer/privacy - how can I resolve this please?

Thanks for any assistance you may care to offer.

Hi Robert, I just took a look at your site using Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera and Chrome, and they all look fine. Granted I don't have edit access to the site, but as you can see from the screenshot, the footer is positioned correctly when Edit Mode is turned off.

The screenshot only shows Opera, but it looked exactly the same in all the browsers I tried above. I even used Chrome / Opera's Developer Tools to add some text to the footer (it's not actually saved, it's just modifying the page that's stored on your computer) and the even when I added five paragraphs of the word "testing!", it still looked fine. Resizing the page did nothing too, the footer just moved towards the centre, then stopped when it got too small.

Perhaps there's something installed in your browser that is doing that? For example, an extension such as Stylish that adds extra bits of code to every page? That's the only thing I can really think of..

EDIT: Here's another screenshot with the test text in there. It looks quite alright, I think. I also had another thought -- perhaps there's a concrete5 block or something else that's adding extra stuff and breaking the footer? Or perhaps when going into edit mode, C5's own edit "styles" are interfering? Though I've never had that happen to me on the other sites I use District on..

David,
Sincere thanks for the time and effort you've gone to. It is much appreciated. I've been able to do a workaround which will easily suffice for now. Thanks again for your total professionalism.
Robert.
