Form Confirmation to SUBMITTED

Hi There
It seems the new express forms does not support dispatching a confirmation receipt to the person who has submitted the form.
1, Is there any way I can implement this currently within v8.2? I hope so, can someone advise if they have to voodoo to help
2, Can I request this function is added as the new form is great but its a major must have if one is to avoid using 3rd party apps for forms. People don't trust website confirmations alone.

(2) Is probably best raised as an issue on github. Check existing issues first in case it has already been raised/proposed.
Ok - thanks. have done. There was a legacy request but that was for the old form system and said it was assigned but was never completed so I have done a fresh one.
