ftp to a users filemanager

can i set up user to be able to ftp to their own folder that will see only their incoming files in the filemanager?
You should be able to, figure out what folder belongs to the user and create an ftp account for them to log in, that will only give them access directly to their folder!!
how do i configure the permissions to allow a user to only see their files that they upload
try this:
take a look in dashboard > full sitemap > show system pages > expand dashboard > expand files > file manager
from there you should be able to set access for users to view and edit their own images based on user, group, and page owner permissions.
you will likely need to set permissions from the dashboard page down in the sitemap...
