Galleria Image Gallery - Left

Hi

Loving Asmiller's Galleria Image Gallery but was just wondering how to make the left gallery that appears on his site:

Is this a different gallery thats not been released yet or can it be achieved by using a custom template.

AFAIK the jquery album script he is using takes care of that and generates the left thumbnail-ish menu.
