Hard Code Google maps into template
Permalink
Hi,
I have a site which has a listing of over 200 stockists on it, the client would like to have each one link to a page which displays a googlemap of their location. Currently the information stored is the address and postcode as custom attributes, would it be possible to use these to display a google map on each stockist page?
Many Thanks
Steve

This add on will show all your stockits in a directory with location data and a map.http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/dealer-locator/... Calling a map from a custom attribute to be displayed in google maps in a page type may take quite a while and you will probably save yourself time and money by getting the add-on and you will probably find the additional features out of the box very helpful.
Ekko,
thanks for the reply, I did consider that add-on initially when I was developing the site, however and I went a different way, so it is not possible to re build that part of the site. Ideally what I am looking for is the ability to add the google map block into the template and have it use the custom attributes that store the address.
Thanks
Steve
