Having problems setting up navigation in certain themes

Permalink 1 user found helpful
First of all, I totally feel like I'm missing something really obvious, but for the life of me I can't figure it out. In many themes there is apparently navigation that's supposed to fit in nicely with the layout but I can't get it to show up.

For instance, my current theme just has navigation. However, if I try the LoadFooV2 theme (http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/themes/loadfoov2/) I don't get anything (see attached screenshots). If you look at the image of the theme in the marketplace it looks like navigation should be built in, but it doesn't show up on my pages. None of the navigation-related blocks seem to work that way either.

Could someone point out what I'm doing wrong (or not doing) please? :)

Some themes have the autonav block hardcoded into them, and some themes do not.

LoadFooV2 is one of the themes that doesn't not have the autonav block automatically added to your pages, so you'll have to add them manually.

You'll probably want to use Page Type Defaults to do this, as it allows you to assign the autonav to all your existing pages at once, rather than do this for each one separately.

Thank you LucasAnderson, that's exactly what I was looking for. I think what was tripping me up was that autonav looked different depending on where it was added in the page, but this makes sense now.
