Help! Edit bar showing to all users

Hi,

I built my first c5 site using mamp to view it on my local drive. All looks fine until I upload it to the live server. It works fine and I can edit pages etc... when signed in as admin, but ALL USERS can see the c5 bar at the top of the page (Hand icon/Edit Page/Help/Sign Out).

Any help greatly appreciated as I haven't a clue how to fix this.

Thanks,
John

Is there anybody out there who knows this answer? I'm getting pretty desperate and am running out of time. Any help REALLY welcome as I'm completely stuck and I know it's probably very simple.

Thanks.

Long shot.... what are your permissions set at?

Thanks Adreco. My c5 installation is in a subfolder. I use Fetch on the Mac to upload to the server. When I select the subfolder containing c5 and click 'get info' permissions are set to 755. Is this correct or is there a particular file That I should modify?

Thanks again.
John

John,
Your back-end permissions are not the problem. Log in as admin, edit home page, choose "Permissions" from the tool bar and make sure guests are only checked to "read" permissions only.
Hopefully this will clear up the issue
