Help - Guest receiving login page instead of "page forbidden" or "page not found"

Hello,
On my site, I have some pages that are viewable to the guest only during a certain time frame. Once that time frame expires, I expected the "Page Forbidden" or "Page not found" to appear if a guest tries to access that page, but instead, they get the login page. What do I need to do in order for the "Page Not Found" or "Page Forbidden" to appear instead?
