help me if I am wrong !

I just started working with concrete5, one thing that is annoying is that everytime i add a page I should add every blocks in the site that is repeating all over the site, like navigations, footer, ...

isnt there another way that cms produce them itself, i know scrapbook, but thats the same way with fewer steps !

if i give a site to client, its hard for them to add every block to a new page they are creating.

for example i want a products page, every time i want to add a new product i should repeat those steps !

please help me if I am wrong

Choose or make another template that does not have the slideshow in it.

If you want another left_sidebar template, duplicate it, call it different name (left_sidebar1) and take out the the slideshow.

Add it to you page_types and use it instead.

Use page defaults.

Basically, set up a page template in your theme or with the scrapbook.

Go to dashboard, pages and themes, page types, pick your page, click page defaults and change, add, edit.

All pages should update, but I've found if you use scrapbook you will need to click orange block and click 'Setup on Child Pages'. Then tick what you need.

That should get you started, I hope.
