hide pending edits from registered users

Hello everyone,

Im trying to setup a mini intranet. Registered users need to login to get access to a page, where they can share some information with other registered users. Only admin can approve pending edits made by the users, to ensure that all information is accurate.

But I want to hide pending edits from the registered users. Only admin and the user who added the information, should be able to see the information until admin approve the pending edits.

Is that possible ?

Off the top of my head, im not sure that you can do that. Basically if anyone has edit permissions to a page then they will see the latest version regardless of the version that is approved. This is so that if this new user edits the page, they don't try and make the same edits.

In 5.5.3 there is a new workflow feature that might be able to help out with this. (5.5.3 is not out and is in pre-alpha).

It makes sense. If a user add some false information, admin just have to discard the edits. I guess that will work for now. :)

I look forward to see what 5.5.3 has to offer in this matter.
