I've contacted the developer and posed this in a related
discussion however, I thought I'd post my own.

I've installed the Basic Forum add-on and everything is functioning fine. However, I don't want users to have to login when they post an initial question. They can reply without logging in and I have the Captcha feature turned on.

Is there a way to turn off the require login feature? I've gone through the add-on code and found where it says it's required but pieces of the code I've deleted haven't had the desired effect. I'm not a coder by any stretch of the imagination...

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
