How do I add the image upload function

I've created a thumbnail attribute to be used in composer and I want the uploader function to appear on the composer screen.
It's ok I figured it out, C5 is very fiddly at times:)
How about posting a quick synopsis of what you did so others can learn?
Adding a Thumbnail image to "post" is nothing to do with attributes. You just simply create a block named "Thumbnail Image" and you make it only visible in edit mode. You then load a placeholder image into the block and set the composer settings so that it uses the thumbnail template. It then shows the upload function when an author adds/writes a post.
