I'm trying to add a page to my website that will contain archives of a newsletter that will only be available to members of my organization. I would love to password the page so only members could get to it but since I have been unsuccessful with that I decided that I could make access to each file members only. Now I can't even get a new page to show in the navigation for people using the website. I've apparently done something in setting permissions or attributes but have no idea what I've done. HELP, please.

I'm a learn as you go user, not a programmer, so need simple step by step instructions.
