How to Delete Page Types?

Hi everyone,

I'm at a loss as to how to delete a page type that I no longer need that's interfering with the creation of a new page type for my custom theme. I've tried going to the settings panel for that page type and hitting delete but nothing happens. I hear that there is a trash can that may eventually need emptying as well. Where is that?

You can't delete a page type if pages exist that still have this page type!

You'll find the trash if you open the full sitemap and check the option "Show System Pages". Only pages are moved to the trash though!

Awesome! Thanks so much. Once I emptied the trash I was able to delete the page type.
