how to fix 5.5 xss issue without upgrade to 5.6

Hi guys,
We just finished a project with C5 5.5 recently. The client is requiring us to fix the cross site scripting issue. But we really don't want upgrade system to 5.6 at this stage(There must be a fully regression test after the upgrade.If any thing breaks, we will miss the release day).
Just want to ask if there is any patch for 5.5 to fix the xss issue.
