How to make a menu-item not a page, but just a 'container' for subitems?

Like this;

item1
item2
subitem2.1
subitem2.2
subitem2.3
item3
item4

Click on item2 and you get to see the page: 'subitem2.1'.
Where the breadcrum still would be:
Home | item2 | subitem2.1

Tips anyone?

well, you would apply the attribute exclude from sitemap,

and make a redirect block that redirects users to the chosen page if they don't have edit access, i think there was one floating around, if there isn't i can probbably make one.

I don't want this menu-item2 exclude from the sitemap; it has to appear in my navigation. Only not as a page itself. But as you suggest, as a redirect.

So a redirect block would probably exactly do what I want.

I'll see if I can find it; floating around.
If not, I'll get back to you.

Thanks!

it just exludes it from the sitemap so spiders (like google) don't try to index that page, but will still be visible in the navigation
