How to set up an e-mail for Contact us form?
Hi!
I have checked the Contact us form sending a message to myself, but I haven't got any. It looks like the set up of email address is missing. How can I set up the email address to get messages?

Edit the block, select the Options tab, scroll half way down to find the email field.
I need to get a message to my email address when a guest writes me via the Contact form.
I made my own trials - I can find the messages under the REPORTs/ FORM RESULTS, but I can not get any notifications about it.
The website ishttp://frg-oy.com/

I have made screen shots for you so that you can see how to change the email address. See the attachments and follow this procedure.
1. Edit Block
2. Select Options
3. Scroll down to email field and enter your email address

Hi, just wondering if you got this done ?
it didnt help
If adding your email to the block didn't help, your server might not be sending emails at all. Trying going to concrete5 settings and under email method change it to SMTP, and provide it some credentials (you could use gmail for example).
It has been done already- pls check the attachment.
The error message is coming when i do test the email: see in the attachemnt
now i have my email there and the box marked to send me the email, but its not work - no any notification, i just double checked it
Ok it looks like you're using c5.6 which I've never used. But as far as SMTP settings, it says the connection timed out, so the credentials aren't working.
Trying changing the security to SSL, and the port to 465. Save the settings then test them out. Let me know if that works for you.

By the way, not sure if its required for gmails smtp to work, but you can try enabled "allow less secure apps":
https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/6010255?hl=en...
For example, you have to enable that to hook gmail into a email application like outlook, so mines already enabled but I was able to send smtp email successfully using my gmail login, smtp.gmail.com, port 465 and SSL security.

Oh and last thing to mention, not sure if it matters but you may try setting the receiver of the test email to something other than the email address using to send the email via smtp. I've never tried sending a test email the same email that its using to send the email in the first place, so sending the test email to a different address than the one your using for smtp setting is another thing you could try.
sounds like a bit risky
Not risky really, gmail just wants you to use their apps instead of a third party.

@Tato,
its high time you start to learn to use google.
For example to learn about ftp software for the MAC,
Use a browser ( like Safari ) and search for "Mac ftp software"
Example - copy and paste this link into your browser
https://www.google.com/search?q=mac+ftp+software&ie=utf-8&oe...

did i understand correctly that I have to download the external ftp program in accordance to fix the problem?
Yes.
Any method that will allow you to edit site.php in your config directory is good. If the ftp stuff is too difficult for you, you could use the file manager that your webhost provides to edit the file.
You could also maybe email your webhost and ask them to edit the file for you?
Just think " I need to edit that site.php"
