How to style last item in a dropdown header autonav?

I have built a dropdown menu to use for my header autonav using Remo's tutorialhttp://www.codeblog.ch/2009/04/concrete5-drop-down-menu/...
This all works fine, but I need to be able to style the last top level menu item (ie the one closest to right hand side) differently to the rest. I can see how I would do that with Jordan's custom nav template, but it's beyond my grasp how to bring that functionality across to my drop-down menu. Or alternatively, how to turn Jordan's template into a drop-down menu.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
