I can't view the marketplace review forum
Permalink
It brings me to a log in screen, so I guess I have to have permission
to just post something on the marketplace review forum.
Someone tell me the reasoning behind this? every page on the review board has a footer that links to the marketplace review forum.
If I don't have permission to the forum why do you still link it?
and if I don't have permission to post something on the marketplace review forum, where should I post?

Hey David,
Thank you for your reply, I have an add-on in the PRB, and in the footer, it has a link to the marketplace review team forum.

Hi There,
Sorry about that, I misunderstood the problem you were having, not being in the PRB I am unable to help i'm afraid, if you are having problems accessing something you feel you should be able to access, probably the best person to speak to is Julia the community manager, I am sure she can sort this out for you, you can find her here.

I assume you are trying to post a review of a Theme/add-on you have purchased or downloaded from the marketplace?
First you need to connect your site to the community, in your Concrete5 site:
dashboard>extend concrete5
At the bottom of the page there will be a green button "connect to community" enter your username and password, and your then connected. click the "visit your project page" link.
At the bottom of this page select the add-on you want to associate to your site, from the drop down menu.
Once you have assigned the license the add-on will appear under the "add-ons and themes" heading in your project page, you will then see a big blue "write a review" button.
Its done like this for several reasons, it stops spammers from bombing the marketplace page reviews with nonsense spam, secondly it stops people writing reviews for stuff they havnt even used.
Dont forget that if you have a problem, the support options are the way to go, also the forums are a great place to get problems solved.
Regards
David
