Image Doesn't Appear

This is my first try at building a website. I can't seem to get an image, photo to appear in the block. All I see is the file name and a box with red x. I tried to resize and reduce the resolution, as I thought the file may be to large. Any help would be appreciated

Your image has a bad URL.
I assume you are trying to link to an image that is on another website?

- If you want to link to the image on another website then specify the entire path to the image -http://www.example.com/imagename.extension...

If you can, just save the image to your computer and then use the "Add an Image" function in Concrete.
- You can then upload the image from your computer and Concrete5 will make sure the URL is correct.

Hi,

it could be many different things. Okay, so I got some questions :

What is the image type ?
What is the image size ?
Does the call to this image comes from a HTML tag <img> or a CSS file ?
Where is your image located (internal or external link)?

I would be great if you could provide a screenshot of your issue.

See you

The image file is a jpeg. It's 50kb. I uploaded the image to concrete so it's in the file manager. I don't know the answer to your question ABOUT HTML vs CSS. You can see the problem on the active websitehttp://www.artearthworks.com.

I appreciate you're help as you can tell I'm very new at this and just trying to work my way through

HI

I have the same problem. I just wanted to publish my site by copying th files form the folder concrete to the public folder. VEr strange: some images are shown now and some are not.
All the images are jpg and have been uploaded in the concrete folder. I just moved the folder on the server. I wonder how can it display on ly some images?
