Did you 1) Choose 2) Upload the image in File Manager?

I uploaded the file in File Manager.
The name showed up in the list, but where the image should show just has a red x.
I clicked on the entry ad clicked Choose.
The file name shows on the page, but no image.

I am having the same problem. No thumbnails show in the file manager. When I select and image with the choose option, the correct image will show in the preview. When the page loads, the block is there, but no image, just the filename.

This is more then likely because the permissions of your /files directory is not set to 777 writable.

To fix this set the permissions on /files to 777 but also set the permissions on all of the directories and images located inside of /files to 777 as well. This includes what is inside of

/files/thumbnails/level2 and
/files/thumbnails/level3

After you have done this, visit your file manager and select all of your images by clicking the check box next to them. Now from the drop menu at the top select "Rescan"

After this your thumbnails will show up and your images will start to work as expected.

Hi, I had the same issue and I changed the permission of every single file to 777 inside the files folder and my images still are not appearing.

Am I missing something else ? I just installed concrete and the only thing I have done within it so far is try to add an image

I do have the same problem on 5.6.0.2; had the same issue on 5.6.0.1 as well. I red in other posts this bug would be fixed with the new version, but it isn't.

Changing permissions to 777 & the rescan doesn't help.
Thumbnails are not showing and pictures on live site and in edit mode are not showing as well.

I am using chromium and firefox - both browser are not showing the pictures.

I am new to C5 and would appreciate a bit more "how to do for dummies". I also attached screen shots.

Any ideas?
