Implement an e107 cms site into concrete 5.5
Permalink
Hi,
not sure if anyone have tried e107 cms ( e107.org) however it was (and it is) one of my favorite cms systems , I would like to use concrete5 in order to manage site layouts and mix other functions with concrete5.
My first problem is mostly about user db :
does concrete5 have the ability to connect to other user db and use the username and password inside for login?
I know that in e107 you can specify a db and then the relative table for user , password and hash then basically you can choose to let user register using one e107 registration form or another form used by the db you specify.
I wonder if there is something like this in concrete or if there is some roadmap .
I know already about openID but for now this is not the method I need.
any opinion about?
