Implementing Tablesorter 2.0 jQuery

I am trying to add a table to my site and apply the jQuery Tablesorter 2.0 plugin. Where does the .js file go for the Tablesorter? I had tried in the Themes directory and also in the concrete/js directory but nothing happens. I just get a plain old table with re-ordering ability.
I have applied the javascript to the HEAD but I can't get any interactivity.
