Import/Update Products scripts

has anyone done a script to import or update products into the eCommer Package? Looking for a start point, so whould know what tables would have to be updated.

We have a functioning set of import scripts for users, orders and products. Not ready for the marketplace yet, but we can see if they meet your needs.
I need to do an initial import and then update approximately 16,000 products per day. I would need to update attributes such as stock, price, status and description. Would your script do that? Thanks!
