Index of/ showing instead of homepage
Permalink
I am not sure where exactly I need to be posting this- I am very new to web building and hosting and junk.
We finished our website and approved all the pages properly- and now when we type our URL we get taken to the Index Of/ page instead of our homepage. The index shows our concrete5 file and when clicked on our homepage loads, without the page links for the website.
Can anyone help deduce this issue for me?

Can you provide a link to the site so we can see what is going on?

It sounds like you may have installed Concrete5 in a subfolder - if you go to the homepage does it have a web address likehttp://www.mysite.com/concrete5 ?
If so, probably the easiest way to fix that is to point your domain name at the subdirectory. Your host may be able to help you with this, or this answer on Stackexchange may help :http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1588371/pointing-a-subdomain-to-...

When using our website, if we typewww.www.rutherfordquiltguildinc.org/concrete5... we are taken to our homepage.
We will check out the link provided- thanks!

please move the all folders from "concrete5' to root....then it will shows your home page when you hit the link "http://www.rutherfordquiltguildinc.org"
Using filezilla I cannot find anything labeled root (or public_html, as I have also seen it referred).
Thanks for all of your answers- we got it worked for (for now, I hope). We do have another issue, which I am currently researching- when we type our URL it takes us straight to the homepage! However- we have a menu on the side for different page, i.e., "about us," "events" etc....and they are no visible unless I sign in as an admin. Any ideas?
If that block is in a Stack make sure that the Stack is Approved. If it is just on the page, make sure the page is Published.
