Hi I'm having an issue with the Index Search Engine just running constantly, i can stop it using the 'Enabled' function, but when I restart it just does the same thing.

I get this error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 402 bytes) in /var/www/html/updates/concrete5.4.1.1/concrete/libraries/3rdparty/adodb/adodb.inc.php on line 965

It was working fine, I have about 300 pages with a good amount of content, how long should this take? it used to be really quick.

I say its not a memory issue, my host will allow a maximum of 32mb memory, which should be fine.

Any other suggestions, i'm on 5.4.1.1 all addons have been updated.

Ben,

I increased it from 32mb to 64mb, and that solved my problem with this and doing a database backup.

Glad to hear you solved your problem. Perhaps you could share how you did it. Where did you change the memory allocation? Is it part of Concrete5 or did you have to change some code. Perhaps you could give us a pointer to the documentation that describes this issue or feature.

Hi Sorry this issue was nearly 4 years ago, i'd love to help, but to be honest you need to update concrete5, its not been an issue in more recent versions that i've come across. I think I did it using a php info file or something, but not exactly sure.
