Injecting terms into Site Search

My client has several products that are commonly misspelled.
I would like to be able to special-case these terms so, even if misspelled in the search box, the proper product pages will be returned in the search results.
I'm guessing there is no "easy" way to do this, but how would I even go about it in the "hard" way ;-)
