Installing on Windows Server 2003

My Web Host (WebCentral) tells me I cannot install in their Win03/IIS6 servers because mod_rewrite is required and is only available on a Linux Module. Is this true? If not, do any instructions exist for Windows 2003 Server? Many thanks. I LOVE the look of Concrete5 but I'm uncomfortable about shifting clients' Websites offshore just yet.

this is not true at all.

1. concrete5 doesn't need mod_rewrite. It' only required if you want to enable pretty urls
2. mod_rewrite isn't available for iis but there's isapi rewrite which is almost 100% compatible with mod_rewrite (it works with iis for sure)
