Hey guys,
I had developed this website for a client using Flash action script 2 and xml as the database.
Now my client is looking for a content management funcationality to this existing website, hence I wanted to know if it was possible to integrate C5 dashboard into existing flash website.
Cheers,

Hi again,
I just wanted to let you know that I just submitted a new Flash Embed package to the concrete5 Marketplace. It will still need to be approved before it goes up for sale, but I thought that you may be interested in its functionality.
It includes a Flash Embed block which lets you embed Flash content on your page, along with all of the possible options, like alternate content and flashvars.
The second is a Flash Data block which lets you embed XML directly onto the page, and which even includes a simple online XML editor for editing files on the page. The Flash Data block provides a URL which you can feed your SWF to load all of your dynamic data.
Even if your entire site was built in Flash, this would let you edit your content without having to use FTP, and might be a good way to display your site while still leveraging concrete's other features.

However, if the whole site is in Flash then you probably want to continue to leverage XML as your data source. You can create a theme that uses Flash, but you aren't going to be able to edit the XML through Concrete. It's tough, because Concrete doesn't allow editing of XML, and actually doesn't let you upload it into the file manager by default. It's meant to be user friendly so that no one needs to get that technical, but it makes it hard for Flash projects.
Does any of this help you? Do you have more questions?
