Integrating Third Party API with Concrete

Greetings - have recently discovered Concrete5 and am playing with it on a few domains.
One of my bigger projects needs to integrate third party APIs. I wonder if its possible to integrate API functions from a SOAP API, and also communicate with the WHMCS API, through Concrete5? And if so how do I begin?
