Is Concrete 5 Using MOD_REWRITE Path_INFO Module??

Hi,
I'm hosted at Media Temple and they tell us "Enabling FastCGI will cause the mod_rewrite path_info variable to stop functioning".
I know that Expression Engine uses this mod. But I would like to know if Concrete5 does also.
