Is it possible to use page types from multiple themes?

Just wondering if it is possible to create pages from different page types that reside in multiple themes.

For instance, Theme A is a default theme but is it possible to create pages based on page types that are in Theme B?

yes this is possible through the Page>Edit>Design option.
