Is Reverse Form to Excel Possible?

I have a client who is requesting the ability to update a listing (and corresponding characteristics of each listing) from an Excel spreadsheet that would, when uploaded to the site (replacing an existing file), would update the changed fields on a Concrete5 website... is this being done now? Is it possible?
