Is this Post Expired?

I went through this post and converted the html theme to C5, but the styles of the theme weren't displayed.

Then i saw this post

So what i want to know is this post no longer valid?

That is still a good post, check that your css files are loading in the header of your site and that the paths to images are correct.

ok
i checked the source code of the C5 theme through google chrome(ctrl+shift+i) and found out that there is an error when calling the css and images

it says <b>403 (Forbidden)</b>
